Yep, we are still celebrating all month long for LeighSBDesigns and our first birthday! A whole year of fabulous designs by our own Leigh! Here is a party cat, well, he is actually Santa Whiskers with one of the fabulous Party Hats instead of his Santa hat! Digital stamps are quiet versatile and there are tons of ways to play with them!
This guy was on the Inspiration Blog and all of this month's fun can be found there too!
This little guy is sooo cute and kinda looks like he could come up with some snappy jokes if need be! He was free at Limited Runs to participate in the Progressive Challenge on the Facebook Group!
All the details are HERE! So run see all the fun!
I used some paper that I had made with my left over acrylic paints and a brayer. Then some smaller papers for the squares (the blue one another painted postcard). The placement is to fit the Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz Challenge Blog! Here is my sketch; it was use the one for this month or pick one from a previous year!
Hi all! I am back and delighted to be attempting to catch up on almost ten weeks of recuperating from a fall down the stairs. My arm is healing nicely in all the broken parts :) Now for Ike's World Challenge for April using a Spring Inspiration Photo! I had so much fun working on this; it was nice to be inking and coloring up again!
Some background papers in soft pink and background stamps in green ink with some butterflies made a nice home for the pocket to hold my seed packets. The Seed images from Ike's Art were colored with Touch New Markers and inked with Distress Inks. A twine box in green made the last touch. Oh the gorgeous green background paper is a digital paper from Dragons Lair Designs that I printed out and is called Watercolor Papers set.
I am new to playing at the Outlawz Challenges and I am having such fun with all of the different challenges there weekly. This one is for Festive Fridays where the challenge for this week was between 4 celebrations. Since I had Santa Whiskers all colored up and ready to visit I printed out some Dragons Lair Designs digital papers and flowers and made up a card.
Yoo Hoo! I am playing again at the SUYP Challenge that Ike hosts each month and a super easy one with Furrything Goes this month :) I used a freebie of Ike's from a previous month that is now only a dollar Cat Smiles. He is also reminding us to NOT FORGET to SMILE! He is enjoying the spring weather and letting all know he is!
Hope you are smiling!
Don't forget to have a look see at the SUYP Challenge and grab a kitty to love and create with! And remember Ike's World Challenge, too!
Wow! We had an awesome number of fabulous entries for last month's extended (due to my fall oops!) challenge but the extra time was spent ohh and ahhing over the awesomeness! Now we have some dragon love and fairy love mixed together for April! We are using Penny's Discovery from Dragons Lair Designs and what a cutie it is!
I colored up Penny and her friend with Touchnew Markers and fussy cut. Then I printed out my layout from Girls Rule World and glued the image inside the circle. I would have rather cut my layout out but scissors and cutting aggravate my arm so I took a short cut!
Girlz World Mini kit is the kit we are using with Janette's Freebie for April to play along with for the challenge she has going! Click HERE to jump there and see all the details! The kit is gorgeously rich in colors and yummy as ice cream to work with so beware!
The image Ike so nicely gave us is the most charming little fairy I have seen! Plump little legs and arms she is drawn delightfully! The Facebook page for Ike's fans is a fun place to hang out and there is always something to do! So go join if you haven't and get in on April's cutie! It is not too late!
I made a simple journal page using the remains of a die cut flower sheet as a stencil to ink through with Distress Inks. The lightly went over the white negative space with Wild Honey. The image I colored with Prisma colored pencils and printed out that awesome quote by Monet (whom I am obsessed with right now!) was created in Photoshop CC.
As always we hope you have joined the Facebook group and of course the two fabulous challenges of Ike's which the linkies are right below so click on and start playing!
Janette has picked out the most resplendent, color bursting kit for us this month! The awesomeness of Girlz World has to be seen to appreciate fully! Here is my scrapbook page, digital due to the arm injury, using Girlz World Challenge kit and a picture of a lovely flower from Japan!
It is hard to believe a whole year has gone by since the first fabulous design was given to us by LeighSBDesigns! Her digital stamps are remarkably unique and easy to use in so many different ways! We are celebrating the whole month of April with fantastic prizes and games going on so make sure you visit our Fan Page on Facebook and the Inspiration Blog for all the details!! Now on to my birthday wishes for LeighSBDesigns!
Hi all! Here with a quick digitally colored and assembled adorable doggie image from Ike's Art! I am still basically dealing with one hand so short blog typing hurts oww! The image was the first in the Progressive Challenge on Ike's FB Fan page so go get ready for April and if you haven't joined do so soon!
Fabulous Ike was featured in Through the Craftroom Door on March 15, 2018, so make sure you grab one~
First, I am so happy and excited to be back with Ike at Ike's World Challenge as a design team member again! I always have loved her images and now having it on my list of to do's every month, I can't get caught up with other things and not play with her fabulous images!
Secondly, I know this may not look like it fits challenge #104 What's New with You (New Year, New Stuff, etc.). But as I was looking for an image I saw this one, the first time I had seen it and thought now Dorian Gray had his mirror and when a new year rolled around that reflection got older not gorgeous Dorian! So my fabulously young and vibrant temptress looking over her shoulder while her reflection had grown a year older made me think. Yup me thinking always scary! Out with the old her and in with her stunning self! And of course a bottle of......well, let's just say it is not Revlon! and her first sip of the year she got her new year off to a roaring start! And we all know I love Halloween so I thought we have Half-of-ween in May, might as well have a First Halloween or perhaps New Halloween year start in January! There it is my reasoning behind this image. I love her but I cover my mirrors up! 😁
Colored with Spectrum Noir markers and an attempt to lighten up her hair with a white and blue gel pen (dubious at best!) and then after coloring her older self I used a very light blue for the mirror and then used Golden Gloss Medium to give it a shine. I also gave the little bit of her serum a coat of gloss along with the little bit that she hasn't wiped off her lips and her penetrating blue eyes. I attached the image to a piece of cardstock that I keep by my acrylic painting spot and I always wipe up every bit of that yummy color and make my own papers. Sentiment was a stressful time that I can only say these words about. Photoshop Elements 15 and Adobe Support. Nuff said about that!
Come play with us! You can see my teamies really sweet and awesome interpretations of the theme. So show us what YOUR thoughts are on the subject! As you can see the minds work in many diverse directions on these things!
